France T?l?com

The France Télécom Group is one of the world’s leading telecommunications companies with more than 11 million customers. In France it occupies a very important volume of office space (7.5 million m²), most of which it rents following the large-scale disposals of 2002/2003.

Its major challenges are therefore:
- to control rental commitments through a centralised structure
- and the decentralised management of real estate and logistics expenses

In May 2003, it chose Netika Solutions Immobilières for the implementation of its real estate management software package solution.

The implementation of NETiKA Property, has enabled France Télécom to optimise its lease management processes: control of rents and rental charges, expiry dates, etc.

At the same time, with the creation of a multilingual Web portal dedicated to site managers, France Télécom knows exactly and controls the amount of its charges per building.

Netika Solutions Immobilières has therefore helped France Télécom to optimise and control its real estate costs.


NETiKA IT Services

TAGORA, Marketing & Communication

In July 2001, in less than 2 weeks, Tagora transferred to a single site its 200 users - Mac & PC – previously split between the group’s geographically dispersed entities. To carry out this operation, Tagora asked NETiKA IT Services to analyse, design and implement this migration of its computer and telecommunication systems. The five simple heterogeneous infrastructures have been merged into a single consistent network relying on:

  • an IP Giga bits network with level 3 routing, based on Cisco switches
  • a battery of 13 Dell PowerEdge servers providing common services: sharing of files and printers, mail services, ERP, contact management, VPN access, Terminal Server, backup, domain management, Intranet, Proxy Server, etc.
  • a backup system – an ADIC library of 30 cartridges with double DLT IV reader – for safeguarding date Giga Bytes
  • a COLT telecom infrastructure providing connectivity to the Internet, the Level 3 hosting centre and to a partner.

After the successful completion of this integration, Tagora entrusted NETiKA IT Services with the maintenance of this infrastructure - via its Coaching and eMonitoring formulas – as well as the group’s IT management.

Union des Conf?d?rations de l?Industrie et des Employeurs d?Europe (UNICE) (the Union of European Industry Confederations and Employers), employers? confederation

In 2000, UNICE asked NETiKA IT Services to renew its park of some fifty PCs and its IT infrastructure. NETiKA IT Services set up a new network based on HP servers and Microsoft technologies. The work stations are deployed automatically via an RIS and Policies server (Active Directory) : the Windows operating system, Office applications and the specific software are automatically installed and configured in line with UNICE?s own parameters.
Subsequently, in partnership with the company CSL, the workstations and the IT infrastructure are regularly updated by means of a swap-lease contract. In 2002, for example, an HP ProLiant Storage Area Network (SAN) was installed to take charge of data storage and all of the servers.

The Liaison Committee of NGOs, international organisation

NETiKA IT Services has been the IT partner of this international organisation since 1989. If its IT infrastructure has always been modest in size, the Liaison Committee of NGOs has always been one of the pioneers of the Internet in Belgium.
Over the years, NETiKA IT Services has advised and supported this organisation, helping it to implement its major projects and also to contend with very difficult periods when cost cutting was an absolute necessity.

Jones Lang Lasalle, real estate

Jones Lang Lasalle asked NETiKA IT Services to be responsible for setting up and managing its Extranet server.
The " Managed Server " solution offered by NETiKA IT Services includes, for a fixed monthly cost, the installation of the server and the applications, the Extranet, real time supervision of the health and performance of the server, a service guarantee, development as a function of the task, etc..


NETiKA Internet Solutions
FujiFilm Belgium

The FufiFilm Belgium Agency has entrusted the development of its internet site to NETiKA Internet Solutions.

This is an amalgam of technologies which allows us to create the most complex internet sites: using databases and analyses of on-site visits.

Thanks to the administration tools developed by NETiKA Internet Solutions, The FujiFilm Belgium Agency is now able to alter the whole of its product catalogue independently: film, digital equipment, etc ; manage the digital
photographic equipment drivers; manage its distributor list as well as the new information as it appears.

The FujiFilm Belgium internet site has hundreds of visitors every day, making it the most visited internet site in the NETiKA Internet Solutions stable.

IFA The federal administration’s Training institute

In the framework of the COPERNIC plan, the IFA was charged by the federal administration with managing all training for civil servants.

The IFA has installed the training centre management tool developed by NETiKA Internet Solutions : MAXr2.

In six months, more than 50,000 civil servants have been registered for training sessions, thousands of attendance records have been created, more than 200,000 hours of training have been planned; more than 70,000 documents have been sent to participants and trainers.

MAXr2 has been used to plan and manage training session registration; among the constraints with which MAXr2 had to contend, the most delicate was undoubtedly the fact that training was organised on a decentralised basis, so as to allow each civil servant to follow a training course in the centre nearest to his or her home.

We have therefore been able to benefit from the installation of different versions of a software package especially developed for advertising agencies, and media centres, which has continually been adapted in line with market needs. This product therefore has multiple applications to meet the needs of all the agency’s departments. Flexibility and availability are the two key words which characterise our collaboration. Their integrated solution is very dynamic and can be adapted both to our changing needs as well as to changes in market technologies (Web, PDA, etc...).

GROUPE RENMANS

The Renmans Group is the leader operator in Belgium of traditional butcher’s stores and manages through several companies more than 250 sales outlets in Belgium and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.

The trust company Bovy, which manages all the administration of the Renmans Group, had to find an application capable of satisfying all its specific daily, monthly and annual accounting needs, including data consolidation.

After studying the different options available, it chose Netika Business Solutions. A customised solutions was developed on the basis of the Eurojob software package. Today, more than twenty people use it on a full-time basis, processing every monthly approximately 8500 incoming invoices.

This project has been a success thanks to the possibilities of this dynamic solution, as well as the availability and awareness of the development team of the changing needs of the Renmans Group.

NETiKA Mobile Solutions

La soci?t? CityParking is one of the leading car park operators in Europe.

It chose Netika Mobile Solutions to computerise its parking control operations for both private car parks and also street parking (pay-and-display ticket machines). Because of the geographical dispersion of the sites and the constraints of outdoor use, a PDA type solution was necessary.

Thus, infractions and negative controls are stored in the PDAs, before being sent to the central dispatching department of CityParking, after synchronisation of the data in the regional sites.

The management of controls is fully computerised, from the start to the finish of the process: parking controls, the recording of infractions and the follow-up, the management of the control sites, the management of parking rights and the related statistics.

We appreciate the quality of the application developed by Netika Mobile Solutions, both as regards the overall architecture of the solution implemented and its ease of use.

The VALIO-VACHE BLEUE company

The Valio-Vache Bleue company ensures the marketing of cheese in Belgium and Luxembourg . Important actor on the market, the company has now widened its activities to become the largest cheese-making wholesaler in Belgium , with industrial activities of prepackaging and its own transport firm.

With an aim of improving efficiency, productivity, and reactivity of its merchandisers, the Valio-Vache Bleue company put its trust in NETiKA for developing an application on Pocket PC.

This application, aiming to pilot the sales force, has allowed merchandisers to have in hand relevant information on the field (customer data, product data, agenda, commercial transactions, dashboards, etc.). At the organizational level, it has allowed to guide the commercial strategy in real time.

Thanks to mobile terminals, our company equipped itself with a solution which comes up to our expectations : to have existing information at our disposal on the field and to recover them in real time in the form of dashboards to be able to take the best decisions.

NETiKA Software Outsourcing
Interparking Group

The Interparking Group develops and runs car parks throughout Europe, 60 of which are in Belgium. In order to offer a better service to its clients and optimise the management of installations in car parks, it was decided to ask employees to provide mobile services to check the working of installations in the car parks.

To manage the organisation of these operations together with follow up, Netika Software Outsourcing was chosen to develop an exclusive intranet application linked to an Oracle database for which data was captured by portable units (PDAs).

The application was developed by the Vietnamese team and the project was managed entirely from Belgium.
