Via this formula, NETiKA carries out a quarterly check-up of your backup system and makes available to you a compatible disaster recovery system in case of need.

The advantages of CareBackup

	Quality Control Sometimes cartridges can only be read with the systems which recorded them. This phenomenon is rare but not exceptional. In the event of a failure or theft of the latter, the cartridges become unusable. With CareBackup, every quarter you entrust to your coach or you send us a backup cartridge, we check that it is legible on one of our backup systems and return it to you.
	Disaster Recovery In a disaster scenario – for example the theft of a server – it is essential to recover very quickly the content of your last backup and therefore have available to you a compatible backup reader. With CareBackup, in the event of a disaster, we make available to you within 4 working hours a compatible backup system free of charge for a maximum of 2 weeks.
	Archives Over the years, your backup system changes and integrates the latest technologies. Your archives are not always legible on the current system. With CareBackup, you always have available via NETiKA a backup system compatible with your archive cartridges.

Financial description

The CareBackup service is invoiced on a flat rate monthly basis. The cost depends on the backup system(s).
However, the price does not include:

• Services other than those of the quarterly control of a set of backup cartridges
• The rental of a backup systems after the first two weeks
• The repair of the backup system must be covered by a HP Support-Pack, Compaq CarePaq type guarantee extension)
• Transport costs
• Etc.
